Let Africa Shine

Let Africa Shine, shine with the Light of His Glory. This is a choice!

This site is for those who truly believe that Africa is not the Lost or Dark Continent. My hope is that through this initiative many will come together, put their trust in God and believe him to give us the direction to bring his Light upon this beautiful continent. Through prayer and intercession, we will trust God to reveal the hidden things that have kept his Light from shining in Africa. We must remember that:

"The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." [Hebrews 4 v 12-13 NKJV].

The goals of this initiative are as follows: (1) to bring people together from every nation, (2) to network intercessory groups that are already in operation and (3) to form similar groups in nations where they have not yet been established. However, it is my belief that our Lord Jesus Christ has already placed, in every nation, people to stand in the gap for their nations.

"For thus has the Lord said to me: Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees"[Isaiah 21 v 6 NKJV]

My hope is that we will all be able to link up so that we can encourage and learn from one another. It is also important that we record what the Lord has already spoken to intercessors for each nation of Africa. Our drive is therefore towards letting Africa shine with His Glory. We are driven to believing God for abundant blessings to be poured out on Africa according to the promise of God to Abraham

"I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."[Genesis 12 v 3 NKJV]

In believing God for abundant blessings, we strongly acknowledge that:

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.[Galatians 3 v 13-14 NKJV])

As the children of Israel did, we must confess the transgressions and iniquities of our forefathers.

"Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers."[Nehemiah 9 v 2 NKJV]

Only then will God raise up spirit-filled believers, with great wisdom and knowledge as He did during the building of the tabernacle.

"And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship,"(Exodus 35 v 30-31 NKJV)

Through believers such as Bezalel, great works for the Lords Glory will inevitably spring forth inspite of the nature of the ministry, business or charitable work. All for the purpose of drawing many souls into the Kingdom of God.

The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you."(Deuteronomy 28 v 8 NKJV)
